![]() One had broken wireless (ironically I couldn't seem to fix in W7 but going to W10 had the default drivers fix it), failing HDD and a few broken keys and the other was having random shutdowns/blackscreens which was fixed by updating the Bios (and something I did in there I can't remember) and going to Win10.Īfter installing W10 I was also having problems with 15.7.1 switching (even changing programs manually wasn't working) on 1 laptop so I upgraded it to the Crimson beta (16.2.1) which fixed the switching but caused the system to take ~2mins everytime to wake up from sleep. They were sent in as "broken" but my brother works in IT dep so he wrote them off and gave to me to fix. Click to expand.My parent's both have the 4530s with an i5-2540M.
